Does anyone know where i can buy some Green Screen material in the Chicago area?

fabric will do. i used it once in a video a few years ago and it worked great.
i don't think it's actually a 'screen' cause sometimes an actor has to wear a green suit, pretty sure it's some kind of nylon or cotton. the color is what matters the most.
any fabric store should have what you're looking for. not sure of the cost. you'd think shit lime green would be cheap though.
good luck.

it can be any colour you want..the idae is you mask out a single colour...thats why they use odd colours like flouro green and electric blue..cause those colours aren't really found in nature....or else you may mask out the green eyes of the actor, etc.

You can use phosphor green paint too, which can be easier to light.

yeah..the key is you want what your masking, to have an even light as possible...any shadows, etc cast onto the green may cause the matt to fuck up...right?

obviously this depends on how big of an area you are working in..(someone walking around..or standing in place talking)
If you want to go totally ghetto you can just go down to any sort of arts & crafts supply store or a place like OfficeMax and just buy a few pieces of the large format neon green paper. Piece a few of those together on a wall and you're set. Ghetto but it works if you get the lighting right.
