I have to create this quicktime movie i have into a mpeg2 format and burn it so it works on a DVD player. I aint ever done anything like this before! Can any one give me advice on the best way to do this, and any other general help on this subject...

Well your going to need a transcoding application.
Mac - Apple Compressor
PC - Discreet CleanerThis will take your quiicktime file and transcode it into a MPEG 2 file.

Final Cut Pro + DVD Studio Pro + Toast will work if you have 'em.

i've posted all sorts of info regarding this yesterday. do a search for "flash to dvd" and you should find all your answers.

i know in Premiere and Final Cut, you can export to mpeg-2's for sure and then tweak a lot of the templates they have set up depending on the quality of the encode you're going for.....

quicktime pro with the mpeg2 component will convert it too. just need a burning app to burn it then.

thanks all for yah help....sorry for not checking first, didnt think!!! i was also in the office on a friday night till 3am waiting on a render to complete....so bloody dull.
I will go have a look....i have come to the conclusion that i shouldnt create quicktime movies in Flash...its turned into a nightmare....think its time to learn Premier and After Effects!!!
