Long time ago (2-4 years in this industry means ages..) a friend of mine developed Alladyn, an amazing cross-browser dhtml library that unified JS access to layers and other objects and also gave some easy to apply animation functions. Making stuff like cross-browser sliding menus was so easy with it. Now that NN4 is gone, so are most of the cross-browser DHTML problems. But are they? Recently I was talking to this programmer friend about returning to Alladyn project.
Do you guys think there still is a need for this kind of dhtml library? Is Safari JS causing you problems?
BTW there is still a symbolic crate of beer bet on commenting Alladyn's code. Nobody's done it yet, though many brave ones tried and failed. Wanna try? ;)
