There isn't many options there are the big four or so companies, telus, rogers, bell and fido. ...well atleast in Ontario.
I am with telus and i'm not that impressed. Not sure if they have Fido in Nova scotia but in Toronto they have a pretty good deal right now, $40 a month with unlimited calls/airtime in the Greater Toronto Area. I am thinking of swithching myself.

telus = smellus
bad company to deal with, let me tell you.

i have fido, but I live in Ottawa so service is pretty good. I'm planning in moving to Halifax in one year and I was told they have service thier. But Fido isn't that reliable outside the cities.
Rogers is supposedly pretty good. Don't know abou the others.

Im with Fido and their service is pretty good, other than being over congested during rush hour. Go with Rogers for Nova Scotia. Just shell out the big cash so you don't have to sign a contract.

I have Telus in Halifax and it works really well. My sister has Roger's and she can never get a signal...

rogers sucks... bell seems to be reliable, but expensive.
