reboot on writing

  I have an AMD 1ghz on a shuttle ak11 (VIA),and I just bought a DVD writer (NEC 2510A).

  The problem I have is as soon as I try to write a disk (CD or DVD), the computer freezes or reboots.

  So I reinstalled the system but still have the same problem.

  I even tested the ram with memtest86.

  Had problem reading large files in my dvd-rom. (same reboot thing)

  Any ideas or a place to post.
