Not yet. But a friend of mine is going there for a week, on a mission to feed an hungry nation with quality music.
Any tips on good record stores?

PS: I remember hanging in Notting Hill, Portobello, Camden and finding some really nice music stores. Anything there?

Berwick Street in Soho has a selection of record stores, theres also Wyld Pitch on Lexington street, and Black Market on D'arblay street, Deal Real just off Carnaby Street then yeah notting hill/ portobello and Camden have a good concentration, especially Camden really, on the high street, on Inverness street (theres a rockabilly shop right up at the end there) and the Stables market too but the prices are a bit high there.

oh yeah and Rays Jazz shop has been saved due to local protest and now lives downstairs in Foyles bookshop on Charing Cross road. theres another good one down this side alley off Brewer street/soho, the alley is called Peters Court or something.
