I pretty much agree with what the director is trying to say, but the documentary is unrealistic. You could lose weight from eating at McDonald's and by doing a little bit of exercise. Obviously, a lot of American's don't care for doing from physical activities once in a while and pig out a lot too so it could work. But people shouldn't blame McDonald's or other fast food eateries for their issues. You wouldn't blame car companies for your inability to walk to places.
That's all I have to say.

To bounce off Jaline's post, the other thing that I had to keep in mind is that his girlfriend of umpteen years is a vegan chef. The guy was eating ridiculously healthy food for who knows how long before he invested in this diet...I'd venture to say that if anyone had such a dramatic shift in diet either way, their body would reject it.
That said, that film had an impact on me and I think I'm cutting fast food out of my system. Or at least I'm going to eat it a lot less. :)

even if you were 'losing weight' (which would require a higher ratio due to the unfeasably large fat content in mcdonalds) the fact is that you would still be hardening your arteries with such hiugh levels of cholesterol, and thats before you get onto the high blood pressure caused by high salt content and the amount of chemicals the food is processed with and the general low quality of meat product.
But you are right in that it is all down to choice.

the biggest point for me about this movie was that fast food is just as bad a smoking, yet it is so blatantly geared towards children and is so socially accepted.
it is not good for you in any way people!

Sure... I eat fast food sometimes. But man... mcDonald's is down right shite! I'd eat piss before those sugar fried.

Great flick. I grew up on McDonald's poison and rarely touch the stuff now.
Fact is anyway you look at it, "junk" food has fattened American and now the world. See Japan: whose diet has changed and average height and weight of kids has grown substancially as of late.
