    I want to create a kinda database that holds info in various catagories.

    i.e In Classsic OS you have you folder documented in - Name, Date Modifed, Type, etc.. and when you click on the tab everything shifts dependant on where you click.

    I would like to do this with names, dates, etc.. and for the tab to place them in alphabetical order.

    I know you can use MS Access but was looking for a little cheeky OS X ap (free or cheap)

    Not cheap, but very good!

    You can also use MySQL and PHP and bild up your own application - more work but FREE.
