It was a shame that dumbass Beckham missed that penalty.

Why would they want to come second?

why do girls like to go out with English footballers?
cause they're on top for 90 minutes and still come 2nd
- JazX0
that's the system

I'd agree with kuz there
Normally, neh, nearly always it is the result that counts, but when you are in group stages, you take the positives and build on them for the remainding games
We lost, but we can still win, daft eh!?
- JazX0
although an American, I payed close attention to the England National Team over the past 6 to 7 years and I can sense that a loss to either Germany, Argentina or France stings the worst. Every dog has his day and England will make up for it in DE 2006 WC. Wait and see.

moth... that loss was really harsh. It all came apart at the end. Which is a shame, cos for the first 45minutes we out-played them. And for most of the second half we managed to contain anything they could throw at us.
In football losing doesn't always mean it's cos ur crap. In all honesty, i think a draw wuda been fair.

Maybe I'm missing the point, but it all means fuck-all if they don't win. It doesn't matter how well they played - they obviously didn't play well enough!
The "reviews" BeachBoy, just sound off like excuses... It's like blind patriotism... Hmm. I don't think I'm cut out of the right stuff to understand football or it's die-hard fans.

Looking in perspective, it's this kind of games that make fotball insteresting. The outcome is not decided until the final whistle.
On the other hand Switzerland-Croatia was fucking boring. Almost like most of our national league games...

'Take no pride from Anti-Support'
you must have teh ghey saying something like that.
- JazX0
that shot by Zidane was freakin' insane. WHAP!
- Anarchitect0
Amazing. There were englishmen seeing the game in my neighbourhood café, even tough is deep in Benfica, still a bit far from where the game took place.
- BeachBoy0
Obviously we may have to negotiate Scotland on the way....oh, hang on a minute, my mistake................You're not there!

'we'll meet France again in the final...'
arrogant swines, wouldn't expect any less though...
you will have to win 4 games before you get there.
- JazX0
that's true, you have *ssholes in every country
- BeachBoy0
it is a total embarresment agreed.
But look at the Turks (Galatassaray), Italians (Roma derby day), South Americans (Peru and Argentina especially)
I fear much worse than England - but we get the press
All hooligans are brainless fools anyway
- JazX0
Freddy Adu can't grow up fast enough for my liking. I'll be in Deutschland in 2006 rooting for USA among a few other African nations.

regardless of England's national team value or their victories the football history,
ENGLISH FANS WILL ALWAYS BE THE SHAME OF THEIR COUNTRY. .
those brainless stupid drunks don't know how to behave out of their country, what a shame..
even about 5000 hooligans were blocked from coming here, I wonder it would be much worst.
