howdy kids.
so the resort where i work had an outside group redesign the website.http://www.pearlriverresort.com
it was just launched a couple of weeks ago and the IT dept and our webmaster both seem to be having some pretty big issues with security and large file sizes et cetera.
If you have time to take a peek, I'd love to hear any comments you might have on any aspect: design, code, whatever.
Yay.

did take a little while to load here on the T3 at work.. not sure if that's network bandwidth or filesize though.. i saw image placeholders on most of the pages for a few moments before things would load in too..
site's ok.. though

the dhtml menus are looking jacked in safari, some of the text wraps and is unreadable
the colors and fonts in the main content areas are all over the place
the overall look does have that casino feel. so i guess it's working
i hate the casino look and feel
do you think the blue hairs that play the quarter slots look at the ones that play the nickel slots and think they are white trash?
late

site looks cool to me XP in IE6.
Has anyone else ever noticed that ASP based sites generally load worse than any other type of scripted pages?

yo thanks for looking guys.
i had nothing to do with the site.
i am just an innocent bystander.the design doesn't bother me. just wondering how it holds up on all your machines/connections.
there are some pretty shady things going on with the company that did it. it looks as if they cannibalized several other sites and didn't bother to change the code or something.
should make for an interesting discussion with them.
i am curious to see the outcome of this.thanks again guys!

A bit cheesy but then so are the public. Nothing to complain about design-wise.
No problem with the menus for me (OSX 10.3.4 / Safari 1.2.2), all loaded up ok too.
