9. Terms of Software Use
9.1 You understand that in order for iBackups.net to make you a copy of any software, you acknowledge that you are the legal owner of this same software, and are looking to just make a new copy for archival (backup) purposes only.

If I own it WTF do I need a backup for? It came with the box. I guess it's a way to make money on warez.
- unsexypixel0
so you surgicly attach all your software discs to your ass then, and never loose them
- SF20
why would you have to download your backups? when you can buy a cd burner for 20 bucks
- Nematoth0
you may have lost your CD..??
No?
I've lost my Original Photoshop 5.5 CD..
- SF20
well you're in luck because you can pay this dodgy website $80 and upgrade to photoshop 7
- johndiggity0
There's a free site too. It's called stealing from work.

or I could go downstairs to the the apartment concourse and buy the Adobe Ultimate DVD-ROM for RM12( = US$3) form the dodgy stall DVD/software stall..
Thats another option.. and look it comes with a DVD hardcase and full colour cover... :P

Most likely this company is operating outside of the US' lega jurisdiction.
It's obviously illegal.

obviously, it's legal. because, who the fuck cares?
if youre on pc you can get any warez you want so fuck that $80 bullshit, id rather pay nothing.
yeah, that's right.
- Nematoth0

- Nematoth0
awww... you probably didn't buy 5 DVD movies at the same time though did you?
:P
- Monk0
Well at least they do provide you with a serial number.
- hooked0
basically- software companies are complicit to the ease of copying- if a generation goes through the design schools with bootleged copies of the adobe forte. then it becomes industry standard when they leave
- spongebob0
ah the buy 5 get one free.
holiday plaza right?
- Nematoth0
no lah... just some dude with collapsable table that he takes out the back of his car every afternoon outside my apartment in Kelana Jaya....
- spongebob0
hahahah okay.
it's quite amazing cos these pirates know more about the software they're selling then those folks in the supposedly professional retail stores.
they even offer a fuss free 1 for 1 exchange if the disc is bad hahaha freakin' freakin' amazin'.
- Nematoth0
yeah.. thats very true.. if you go into Imbi plaza or low yat plaza then there's tons of shops there and they all know their stuff.. even when it comes to lesser known softwares like Reason and so on..
- Nematoth0
where r u based spongebob?
