Could someone please point me in the direction of a template for an 8½ x 11 tri-fold brochure?
- rasko40
so that would be like err.. an 8½ x 1 page no?
- autonoma0
It sure would. Got it figured out, though. I just didn't know the exact measurements, and the printer we're using isn't open today.
Thanks!

someone needs to start a handy resource site for this matter...

DutchBoy:
You're right. There are so many sites out there trying to sell this stuff. It would be nice if there were one where you could freely download templates designed by the users in different formats.

depends on the way you are folding it. but there isnt really a template tho, hehe
you just divide 8.5 by 3, or 11 by 3. those are the marks to make your guides or fold marks. simple math really.

Actually, nosaj, when viewing the trifold from the inside, the right-most panel is slightly smaller.

Right, I see what you mean, I just looked at some brochures I have kicking around and in some the right most panel seems 1/8” less wide. I've made a number with equal proportions and never had any problems with page alignment. I'd be interested to know if there is a standard for this also.

just make it photoshop - make gridlines at exactly 33% and 66% across
