I'm a Canadian flying to the US...in the past I always used my passport when doing even in pre 911 days but my passport has expired.
Question is...will the US still let CDN citizens in using only their birth certificate and a valid drivers license?...I know in pre 911 days this was fine bit i'm not sure the deal these days.
any insight is much appreciated.

i live in detroit and have friends that go to canada all the time through the bridge. i know you can get away with just having some ID and a birth certificate if youre driving to canada, but i dont know about flying.
