im coming down to new york this weekend from teh great white north and im looking for a good rock music venue. The listing of other great things to do in your city would be great...
or do you know of a site that lists nyc shows, or other cool shit thats going on this weekend...thoughts?

so, noy that we have established that you are all drunk... is there a on-line listing of rock and or roll shows in the NYC.
Plus, I have not been there in a couple of years, so i dont know where anything is...any thoughts would help...

Pianos and Sin-e and Mercury Lounge are always great.
Places like Bowery and Irving are where you'll find acts you already know.
And check out swimm at Lit if you're around on Tuesday.
