Anyone know of another program that will access songs on an iPod?
There's a bug in Podmaster. Here are the details from the author of the software:
"Never ever wait that long for PodMaster. I tried to get the experience down to under 5 minutes. The only way to achieve this is to read the actual iTunes database on the iPod. PodMaster is usually stuck in this mode when it hits unicode! PodMaster does not support unicode. So if you have a song with unicoding PodMaster rolls over and puts its feet in the air. I have been working for months on a unicode patch and have not found one yet! That is the bad news. The only fix I have found is to backup your iPod using iTunes, then format the iPod, then sychonize iTunes with iPod.
Or it could be any of about 6 minor problems such as having a “\” in a file name which Unix (OSX) treats as a folder.
Either get one of the competetors or wait for a Unicode fix on PodMaster."
