yup, no software, just notepad, or DW if you're building your site with it

if you have a PC get Homesite. Best editor out there. Comes with TopStyle for CSS editing.

Just
edit code, check on browser
edit code, check on browser? Its hard because dreamweaver does not display the divs with their positions (e.g. top: 300px, etc)

Dreamweaver does a nice job in working with CSS. It helped me out greatly...

plus the O'reiliy css reference manual in the program, it took me only about a week to completely learn css, spaceing is still a complete bitch when crossing platforms and browsers, but you learn some tricks, although when working with columns and whatnot its sometimes easier just to stick with tables

saca o Dreamweaver MX 2004.
é muito intuitivo, e vem com manual incorporado.

Get DW... also get the book "designing with web standards”, by Jeffrey Zeldman. It’s the “how to” build websites with css and xhtml. this is the way to go when building websites.

Topstyle is it. Helps you learn all the properties without hiding anything so you know how and why things happen.
