visited toronto plenty of times but never lived there. i lived in van for about a year and would say it's much better. why? the people (no offense to any torontonians), the weather, the moutains, beach, the overall layout of the city. but, like i said haven't lived in toronto, so, i'm biased.
damn man, you got me missing vancouver now!
also i've been in europe the last five years and i'm from NB, so what so i know.

toronto = lots of jobs and shitty lifestyle.
vancouver = no jobs and amazing lifestyle.

Never been to Vancouver But I've always liked Toronto. I have family there they love it and I have a good time visiting, nice little neighborhoods.
But what do I know, I love Detroit.

Vancouver has lots of jobs, if you know what your shit.
Amazing climate and one of the most beautiful places in the world...next to some tropical locations. Never too hot and never too cold.....it's april and i'm gonna go to the beach and skim board, a month ago I was at mt.baker ridingin two feet of fresh snow...can you do that in toronto? Vancouver has sooo much more to offer.

vancouver is great if you can live through lots of rain.
toronto is great if you dont mind random shootings.
vancouver has more to offer?
if youre an outsidey person, maybe, but i visit there every year, and after a week or two, ive had enough, and wish to return to toronto.skimboards? not the best thing van has... maybe surfing on the island...

yeah exactly.. i'm not really into any of the stuff that makes vancouver so great.. i've been here my whole life and i'm at the point in my life where if i don't get a change in environment i really don't know what i'm going to do. i just want to find a job and just chill, or something. simple. \:
and toronto has a bigger jungle/dancehall scene.. hehe. i'm not really into skiing or any beachy shit.

I'm sure the concrete jungle will accept you with open arms....too bad you can't enjoy living in one of the most beautiful place on earth........I bet that first winter in Toronto is gonna kick you in the ass and don't forget about that first summer....blistering hot muggy heat....have fun

this is the best time to come to toronto... its getting real good now a days... summers kickin in...
as far as jobs concerned toronto is a tough market... altho there r more jobs here, there r more people here too... so u really hav u kno ur shit...
i wud say that u start applyin to TORONTO jobs from vancouver... and go for fone interviews... and as soon as u get a job in T.O, come down here...
toronto is beautiful, no matter wat people say.. no doubt. vanc has alot to offer too

Summer months in Toronto.
Winter months in Vancouver.
This is what I'd prefer.

Been a Torontonian for 20 years. Would never live anywhere else. (might vacation south in the ice cold peak of winter though) Vanouver's nice but will never be as exciting as Toronto.

this week i've been putting up with 2+ hour commutes from my cousin's in brampton, on three different public transit systems. would you do that to get to downtown vancouver?

shit. both are awesome.. grew up in van as a child.. grew up as a teen in toronto...
i dunno.. i love both... toronto is more insane which is cool... vancouver is more layed back for sure... i like the energy of toronto right now in my life while i'm young... but i may relocate in my 30s .. i dunno! :S

I like toronto, although I have never been to vancouver. My roommate is from vancouver and he chooses to live in toronto so I guess according to him, toronto is preferable.
