yo, I'm finally getting around to trying to figure this MySql/PHP thing out. Can anybody suggest a good and free front end for MySQL DB administration. I'd appreciate it. I'm used to SQLServer where everything is convenient.

sorry, I hope I'm not buggin' but is winmysqladmin.exe what I am supposed to use? If so, that's a pretty sad and dodgy looking interface.

Try phpMyAdmin... works like a champ!

phpmyadmin is cool, but still prefer the command line.

phpmyadmin is an excellent way to get started, especially if you aspire to go strictly command line. the SQL queries are always spelled out for you with every action. you can even have it spit out queries formatted for PHP.
awesome tool, especially for newbies

If you can connect to your database from external IPs, you can also try MySQL Front.
I've never used it personally but apparently it's all the rage in terms of Win32 front ends.
