FTP on MAC

Please advise as to what FTP software comes stock with OS X...trying to set up a client with simple FTP functionality.

Stop wasting your time trying to skimp on your tools and just go get Transmit... best FTP GUI on any platform, does SFTP too... bargain.

if you send a link to them - they can just use the Safari browser to access their FTP

safari will see it like an external harddrive - and it shows up like an icon on the desktop.
send a link like so..
ftp://username@ftp.yoursite.com

if you have osx and above, you can just connect to it directly from the desktop
under the go menu, you will see a connect to server, ya, fill out info and bada bang.
Course its not truck but it works in a pinch, and it comes stock

umhello, I tried that several times and it let me view the files at the root level, but tagged them with a little red minus and wouldn't display any of the content beyond the root directory.
Anyway, the little truck bro...it made the process so incredibly simple and intuitive, it made me look great...that is, after a few desperate hours of semi-embarassing futility.
