ever crashed at a hostel before? would you recommend it?
im probably gonna be crashing at one in miami (private room)
is it ghetto? safe? what's the deal? i never heard of them really until this week.

I slept in one in London. I didn't know it was a hostel until I got there. There were public hairs everywhere.
Figure that was London and you're talking about Miami. Switch public hair for pieces of teeth and off you go. Find a cheap hotel in a good neighborhood. its worth it.

A friend of mine and I satyed in one in Boston about 5 years ago. There was some German dude in the bunk next to us that took his shoes off and it smelled like a dead possum floating in a toilet all fucking night in the room. We cracked the window but it was like 15 degrees outside.
We got our revenge while the guy was gone: My buddy has really curly black hair, so he shook his head over German dude's pillow and all these little curly black hairs fell all over it. It seriously looked like someone trimmed their pubes over the guy's pillow.other than that the hostle was fine.

How come so much of your friends hair fell out?

he had a LOT of hair. But I don't really have an answer for that, I was too busy laughing my ass off to ask him at the itme.

i've stayed in a bunch of different ones around europe- shady ones and totally legit ones. i definitly reccommend them. saves money and you meet new people sometimes. make sure that there is no curfew if you wanna stay out late.

im kinda sketchy about the whole deal..if it was up to me i would rather stay in a hotel. but my company is paying for it..so i guess i shouldn't really complain.
maybe ill see if i can swing the difference on my card.

in europe they are the way to go. dont know about here in the States though. something tells me they would be more than shady here...
