i dunno i kinda like em, just somthin xtra... i like how they show up in your bookmarks and can jog your memory of the site when your searchin thru em

i can see it in safari but not on a pc with winXP.

How do you make those things anyway. I don't mean design. I mean format, etc.

i think you just drop it in your root as a gif and call it 'favicon.ico' or something

create it in an icon editor... stick in the root director called favicon.ico

actually ive noticed NT has 2 favicons. don't know how or why.
