SUSPEND my NT membership, please

Apparently, any kind of design discussion that is in anyway critical to NT/ and or its developers may be deemed reasonable grounds for membership suspension. To most professional designers, this is ridiculous, since design critics are fundamental to excellence. So for those who don't understand, why speaking about design in a “Design” Forum is inappropriate (Not present in the Broadcast protocol):
1. QBN® cannot separate themselves from what they design.
2. QBN®'s feelings are easily hurt.
3. Hours of work go to waste if the site is not patted on the back.
4. NT is just kidding when the say “For a better tomorrow”
5. NT considers themselves all of the following: a religion, a sexual preference, a nationality, a race, a social status.
6.QBN® deems constructive criticism irrelevant
7. QBN® need validation.
So with that said. We'll see how long this thread lasts before its removed and I'm suspended.

YA what no I mean no arrr Ok i will start again.
what!
- EddyShears0
I'll second that.
Lets get that on the PBS for a moment (the moment since NT wont allow opinions they dont like here).
- drake0
you're an idiot. newstoday is the best site on the web.
- drake0
if you don't like it - then leave... don't create drama...
- EddyShears0
they created drama, by announcing that they are a design forum and community, both principles which their actions are in conflict with.
- tomkat0
what a waste of typing.. that must have taken you a while to write.

Somethings are worth taking the time to do, don't you think?
Aren't discusions for real issues, rather then just letting you know what I like and don't like?

*tfs_mag strolls in*
drama queen!
*tfs_mag cooly exits*
- EddyShears0
nah, its in the protocol, I just copied it.
The story is like this: I start a thread that is critical of the design of NT2, and because it doesn't pat them on the back, the thread is removed and my empoering “citizenship” is removed.
Seems a little antithetical, no?
- Raul0
So why is my membership not suspended? I'm not patting them on the back either.
I guess since I have no Strikes. I'm sure they can change that practicality.

it's a website from some guys who are allowed to delete what they don't want to see.

I agree, everthing in blue is wasted space. I thought the new site would tone down the credits but hell no, they bumped them up even more. As for the (NTB) section, boring links that I've already found somewhere else. Seems like the links from them are 3 days after I seen then elsewhere.
Also it runs slower.

Cry Cry Cry.
They fucking pay for their site you dolt. I didn't see a sign saying Free Speech Here.
- rasko40
the crucial point you are missing is that these guys are into their branding, the God complex is all part of the image, part of the brand, its creates a talking point, its something to hate and why not? afterall they are not selling you something, they're just patting their own backs over something they have put together so why not, you gotta take things easy and realise that this isn't actually some Orwellian plan to overthrow your civil liberty or encroach upon your human rights, you wont be put in prison and you can keep your social security number if that makes you feel better.
- EddyShears0
free speech you say? no.
the point is, if you’re going to tote your forum around like a community entity and design driven forum, then you should have some integrity and, as with all things, some humility.
- rasko40
come on, its more fun to imagine that there really is a QBN govt, a Quorporation Network™, a NewsToday® and not just a couple of guys sitting behind macs.. that doesn't have the same clout as a MultiGalaxian Empire does it??
- grayhood0
well said rasko, its just more fun this way. if you want a site with no over lord where the members can do whatever they want, go to YH.
