using a .jpg as a clear button

How do I go about this? I've tried a few ways, asked frineds, googled, and don't seem to be finding any easy answers.

elaborate....., are you meaning Transparent?, ie: a gif or PNG. not a jpg.

okay, yea, it figures it was a bad width tag making the image so small it didnt look like it was showing up

actually, that only makes a grafic submit button, it submits the form rather than clearng the fields

how about this, make it a normal image with a href="javascript:document.YOURFO...
make sure you change it to your form name.
