Does anyone know where I can find a flash mx pro rss reader component that can be customized to read "atom.xml" files (blogger.com)? I found this one http://www.markme.com/mesh/archi…, but it's only in alpha stages.
Or, is there a free rss blog utility that generates rss 1 & 2? I've looked at MoveableType. Since this is for a client, I would have to pay the $150 and I'd like to investigate free alternatives first(sorry, I know I'm cheap).
Thanks

will any of those work?

I've tried a few of these already, and none of them are set up to read atom type rss, and they have the xml nodes defined directly in the component.
If I can't find a component that reads rss, I'll settle for a free rss 1 or 2 news feeder.

I built mine but it's more because I really wanted to understand actionscript. took me months. I guess that’s of no help to you but good luck.

Puffi has some good links; I had to look at them all. I guess I’m a little slow?

http://broadcast.artificialcolor…firstChild, childNodes, nodeName put into for loops are key. Use the reference in flash and you probably will be able to make sense of it.
I like the look of your site. Finish by Friday huh, nice.
