I am in the process of getting our company on board with video conferencing capabilities. I am a mac user and use iSight with iChat. I'm looking for the PC counterpart to iSight.
Is there anything that is as quality as the iSight for PC users?
Requirements:
Firewire
30fps
internal microphone
winXP compatible
relatively inexpensive

that's pretty much any web cam out there if you don't go for the cheapest, why do you want firewire, do you have any resolution requirements ?
Even USB 1.0 will give you 320*240 in 30 fps (or something I'm not counting, it's smooth) anything over that can be tricky, but then go for a USB 2.0 (more standard on PC) or yeah, a firewire one.
I have a Logitech 3000 or something they don't make anymore and it's got a mic and all that stuff.

Logitech 4000it's still usb 1, but looks decent.
i'm really amazed that there's not a firewire one though. crazy how companies haven't copied apple here yet.

i would not think there would be a huge market for pc firewire webcams. not alot of computers come with them, and usb will work fine enough, its only a webcam does not need too fast speed.

but if one wants 30fps on a 640x480, usb won't support that
usb 2 would be alright as a backup, but don't get why there aren't any around (firewire, or usb2)
