my neighbors have a wireless network now with DSL.
they have 1 or 2 computers, and we have 3.
i was thinking of sharing their DSL through the wireless.
i am pretty sure that it is 802.11B.
we download music a lot.
anybody have knowledge as to whether or not this shit is going to work or be slow/fast?

Yeah, I have wireless in my office and at home. It's AWESOME, highly recommend it. The only thing is, 802.22B is going to be too slow for steaming media, music, etc... 802.11G is 5x faster and is absolutely essential.
$80-100 for the G router and hopefully, you already have a G card. If you're on mixed mode (B&G devices on the same network), the whole thing will slow down to B speed, so everyone needs G.
Trust me though, it's SOOOOO worth it!
