ya know how you can cycle through your open windows with control+tab?
well that doesn't work in illustrator. it just changes my selection tool (which is all good and fine) but i have 10 .ai docs open and i need to cycle through them.
how can i do this? please tell me it is possible.
i suppose if it isn't possible with a key command, maybe i can try to make an action that selects the next document. but that just seems like overkill. ARRRrrr!
thanks fellers.

'sup jack ace?
alls i can tell you is "idunno." and bump this bitch back up.
but i guess i CAN tell you that making an action to cycle thru only works in photoshop. no such luck in illustrator. sorry to break the bad news.
that is unless you know something i dont. and i highly doubt that.

i work on OS 10.2.1
changing OS is not an option.
can panther do some shit that OSX can't in 'this area'?

yeah: exposé: f9 makes all you open windows in all apps shrink and bacome visible on screen for selection, f10 makes all the windows in current app visible and f11 makes everything slide off screen revealing the desktop.
all in all very handy :)

that would be super spiffy.
thanks for the info.it is unfortunate that our systems probablywont be switched over just for my convenience. those whores.
thanks rasko.
so then no one else has any clue as to how one might do this or is it just not doable?

all I can think of is to use the window top drop down and it has all the open docs at the end, select the one you want.... shouldn't slow you up too much.
