check this out..this is fucked up:
Notice how the right half
(your left) of the bird has the bright red patches and black stripe pattern, while the left half is plain grey. It is because the birds right half is male and its left half is female....hence the distinct feather patterns.The bird also has a testicle on the right side and an ovary on the left.
They performed surgery on the bird while it was still a developing embryo.....before the sex had been chemically set. It was a female bird, and they replaced the right hemisphere of the brain with a male embryos' right hemisphere.....hence the
right half of the bird would get signals from the brain to develop as a male, and the left half to develop as a female. This proves that sex determination and development originates from chemical signals in the brain,
not from the gonads as was previously thought.who says playing god with nature isn't fun?

he graduated from western at the top of his class majoring in both genetics and biochemical engineering....so im pretty sure its real

for one, photoshop exists. for two, brain surgery on a zebra finch?!? BS. i work witht hese birds every day, i see some pretty fuct up animals, but this is definetly not real. and isnt the brain opposite... the right half control the left body and the left half controls the right. thats why left handed people are "right brainers" and rightys are creative?sorry, this has got to be a fake IMHO

i agree. you can't just take one hemisphere out of a male bird and put it in a female bird. the brain's way too complex for that.
