In the shiny sparkly world of freelancing, have you ever worked on a project, spent time on design and development. Later to have it destroyed and pissed on from a great height by a client or employer, today that appened to me!
A few weeks ago I designed a nice template, with the intention I would be later asked to add more imagery and help with construction if need be.
I get asked to do a few poxy images, far enough I'm a nice guy I throw them in for free. It's a simple job. Now some guy decides oh wouldn't it be nice if we threw in some flash! But oh no they didn't ask me, they asked some guy with the flash capabilities of a cat turd! jerky tweening and lots of alpha equals crap flash! It was all going so well and I was even contemplating adding the site to my portfolio, ha forget that!
well just had to vent my frustration, i'm sure others of you have had days like this...er..come on back me up here...so I don't feel like a complete idiot!

hey. here's a good one that happened to me yesterday.
i'm in-house freelancing for this company making a video. i shot it like 2 days ago and am now digitizing it into their system.
they have like 6 puters in this room and they are all connected and integrated with all this bitchen technology and equip.
so i'm logging my video then batch digitizing it while this guy 3 computers down is playing like medal of honor or something.
2 hours later for whatever reason i think to myself "hmm, i should really look at some of the video i've captured to make sure it's all good." well... for some reason the dickhead the day before set it up to capture him playing. so you guessed it, for 2 hours i was capturing video of that arsehole playing a game.
it was weird. i was seeing my video and the tape was running and everything but i was capturing his game.
i almost lost it. i was so pissed.
but... i'm working for them and it is good money so oh well.

haha well glad I'm not the only one, but I just found out that a guy I used to work with designed the flash...erm..and he's probably gonna read this, all I can say is oops n sorry if i offended u dude...
eek said his flash was like cat turd haha
