  Spent the whole day today at the DMV across the street. Having made the trip once to see the Nets in New Jersey, I'm really glad that 1) Brooklyn will be getting a professional sports team and fancy new building and 2) that it's the Nets, because they deserve a little franchise spark. I feel for the locals who don't like the change but honestly, microbubble economics aside it's probably a good thing for the area...

  Comercially it makes sense... I get it. IF that is the logo however - it is as pretentious as it gets... The franchise SHOULD be about the Nets and NOT about Brooklyn.

  They'll still suck in their new home and my neighbourhood...
