decent merchant account

  we have developed a payment system and we require a merchant account to hold the payments.

  can anyone recommend a good one?

  we tried a canadian company and they said it is very difficult to get a canadian merchant account .. he said only about 15% of companies go with canadian merch accounts..the rest are american.

  if anyone could recommend a good merch account i would really appreciate it
