While your talking about Alice in Chains down there, when's the last time you listened to "I will never forget you"? Jesus that tune rocks
Punk's answer to Joy Division?

Bob Mould played in Sugar for a while. Saw them about 4 times. Nice shows.
- brundlefly0

- Mimio0
Modulate by Bob is a good album, it takes a few listens. He's brilliant.

'Land Speed Record" is a great album. So called because they covererd more land and took more speed than any other band apparently!
I'm trying to get my confused nu-metal cousin on to the right path. See what you think of my curriculum thus far:
DK
Venom
Husker Dü
Suicidal Tendencies
Helmet
Gorilla Biscuits
Minor Threat
Screeching Weasel
and some Hanson Brothers for good measureThe 80's rocked
- Mimio0
Oh yeah, I thought Helmet was so awesome when I was 14. They rock hard.

"Girl Who Lives On Heaven Hill"
- fans of Husker D- should check out:
Pegboy "Earwig"
That albums ahs a simular Husker feel.

HD Eight Miles High just came up on my iTunes random play
- JazX0
yeah but Helvetica, Helmet realy didn't take off until 90's but your right about those others they rocked
- rson0
What skate video in like 93', was husker du in. Was it the blind video? Or was it the first SMA with natas. I think that was firehose.
- unknown0
the Natas song was Firehose.

JazX, true, but I need extreme measures to get him off Marilyn Manson, he/she's ok but those pants, come on.
btw, think Darkness can make no.1 with their "I like it but it's not as good as the worst song on the album" chrimbo hit? I'll buy it anyway
- tfs__mag0
yeah husker du was in the blind video... i want to say it was jason lee's other song (the first song on his part was milk's "the knife song". I can't remember the name of the husker track though.

The Huskers rocked it. Props to Minnesotans. Mould continues to rip it up. Everyone should own Zen Arcade.
