any postscript (error) geeks?

been trying to pdf a 4pp with a few images. even tried printing it with images set to 'rough' tried restarting and tried again, but it just won't distill!!! anybody have any ideas how to troubleshoot this kind of thing?

alpha channels in your images?

gotta be a font error...have you flightchecked the material/pitstopped?
if not take certain elements out and see if it sidtills. remove a pic box, remove a bit of text and see what happens...
bit of trial and error...
I aint no geek man...:)

thanks for the advice guys. it's a bit strange though because the document is part of a set, so they all use the same images and fonts, and they've all distilled ok, so it doesn't leave much to troubleshoot. might try pasting it all into a new file and see if that works.

sometimes freehand does it if you have too many groups and 'paste insides' etc.

gAK! found out what it was! it was a sneaky jpeg that had sneakily sneaked in to the master pages. lesson learned there...

actually, i spoke too soon. spend f*ckin' ages finding out what page was causing it and it turns out that it was the text on the page! christ, i never realised body copy could cause postscript errors. had to retype the whole thing. lesson for anybody else who has to debug those bastards.
