Arinsal is basically a very boring resort with miserable features and super dull terrain. This place really isn't worth bothering with unless you're into very flat and dull trails which allow for an average maximum speed of 2 miles per hour. However, saving grace is at hand, while on its own this is a small place, being located close to a couple of Andorra's other resorts, Ordino and Pal, you are able to escape the tedium of Arinsal with ease. In Arinsal's defence, a group of beginners on their first snowboard holiday will find the place absolutely perfect and well worth the money - just don't expect any progression once you pass the novice rating. Intermediate carvers may also find a few trails to while away an hour or two but for advanced freestylers forget it.
