i dont use illustrator that much so this question is probably easy to you.
I've got my document setup at A3 and i've go my print setup at A3, both of them are portrait, but that dotted lined box that shows you what will be printed is halfway down the document and bleeds off the page??. Where am i going wrong ?? How do i align in to the top of the page??.
thanks!!

Hold your mouse over the 'thumb' tool and you can change the option to a lil square thingmy then you can drag the stage about as and when you please.

That little dotted line represents how big the printer you're connected to can print. If you've got an a4 printer it will show and a4 size dotted box. You hide it by going view > page tiling
