Q: "make the website easily accessible for people with sight problems"
how, for example?
- unknown0
there is this software that speaks out the websites (as well as e-mail). then again. flash sites or graphically oriented sites are a problem.
for dyslexic people:
there is also a font specially made for dyslexic people (made by a dyslexic girl actually). i think it was linked on NT once.

oooo and wait. what really is important is to use those ALT tags for images. the txt of that is spoken out. so the user knows it's an image and also what the image stands for. ofcourse if you use that ALT tag wisely. so no flash. images ok, although needs to be functional and have a proper descr. and lots of txt.

as by law. any form of literature websites/print etc, 14 pt is the minium font size to use.....

dankjewel paul.
that sounds useful. do you have a link to that typeface? really want to see that one.

no problem.
here ya go:
but you were specifically asking for blind-friendly websites? not dyslexic right?
anyways, there are institutions specialized in that. they can tell you exactly how to make a blind-friendly website.

If you work on U.S.-based government site, there's a Section 508 guideline you have to follow to make it good for the blind and the disabled using those softwares listed above. I think Clinton signed it as law.
I'm pretty sure the White House site complies with the rule.

oooow man.... weirdos in here :)
they start drinking beer here early. especially in east berlin. there's this shack called schlemmer pavilion and they start drinking there at 9. even guys in uniform, e.g. from the post. and sometimes they dance on schlager. it's too funny.
but those big cans rule. haven't seen small cans either. standard big. there's even 1liter cans.
