would anyone be interested in getting food first? we could get a table somewhere and then go to the pub after?
There's a wicked affordable greek on frith street called jimmy's - jsut up the road from the french house...

10th is good for me, not sure about the lack of pints but could force down some red wine if I really had to. Food would be good but I'm skint so will probably end up just drinking, unless it's really really affordable.

Shall we keep it simple and pick a large central pub in soho? French house may be a bit small

dont forget my fine pelted leather helmet mr carver, and we can discuss our stocks and shares over a nice pipe full of fine tobacco and a glass of claret.

10th.... shite, i am at work then to finish the year... bad luck - it's only 101 francs for a flight to london peripherals...

i'll fetch the helmet rask mate, i'll have to get a good go at it this weekend if i needs it to look like the photo on the 'pamphlet' from the antique shop. the good thing about the french house, despite it's narrow proclivites, we can casually spill out onto the street on a cold crisp december eve, maybe soho council permitting, we could fashion a brazier(a barrell of fire-for the uninitiated among us)-in a paean to the nightwatchman or anybody that went on strike, anywhere in the world, for better working conditions, envoking the spirit of the jarrow crusade. of course i don't need to strike, my working conditions are fine, albeit a bit flaky at the mo, but did i ever mention i get a payrise on the 15th. daft eh?
