i'm sure if i was willing to move i could get something....
its funny cause companies are asking me if i want to intern. i'm thinking dude...i'm almost 30.....how am i going to pay my bills by working for you for free?

That is too bad you are in Florida.
We are currently interviewing designers & developers for a freelance gig coming up within the next few weeks.
We might be able to offer something if your skills meet those of what we need.
If you can, you should email me your resume. Send us a book.
We don't work much with people ouside of California, but if you have what it takes, why not.
Good Luck!

2 months is nothing, it took me a year to find a job.

dconstrukt,
Being honest (and maybe a little harsh) but your portfolio site looks too...just out of college.
First off, get rid of the computer skills copy. It's useless information. Imagine a plumber saying... i can use a spanner, gimme a job...sounds amateurish and...obvious. Talk design if you want to talk. People are offering you jobs in the low $20's because they think you only know how to use a computer.
Secondly, drop the board designs,
they do nothing but imply you're a young designer. And make your print stuff bigger, show off the typography, include comments. you know what the project is, everyone else doesn't.just my 2c.

thanks for the tip for subline....i'll send you an email today. :o)
bluejam...thanks dude. i appreciate constructive comments.
as I mentioned before i'm working on a new site....so i'll be sure to include some info on each project...
i suppose i can get rid of the skills etc and stick them on a resume perhaps make an html page/resume.......
any other comments?
