- BXCAR0

very true Bxcar, but not really relevant when you're getting fucked by creditors. Set up the paypal account.
- BXCAR0
keep it up. i like that.
- BXCAR0
that paypal thing.
all my respect but im a bit skeptical.
will there be an account set up for everyone who's got it coming.
much talk no actionkeep it real
i think janne will sort it out himself.

Good luck man, hope you sort things out. Speak to your clients if they owe you any dosh, make em feel guilty, I'm sure you'll have gone beyond the call of duty to help them out before so it's probably about tikme they did the same for you.
I'd send you a few quid but I'm in pretty much the same situation - 3 months with no serious projects, dwindling amounts of money in my tax account, projects being postponed or cancelled, Christmas coming up, at my overdraft limit etc. The thought of a monthly wage is tempting.

good luck 4cy. just stay positive things always work themselves out. I really liked transfattys advice:
"just let the waves roll in, dive under them if you can or ride them to shore.
they are only waves, you know ?"
think about a part time job for the time being. At least it's some form of income while you find a better paying client or a full time job.
again, good luck.
- TIOIS0
godspeed you pink computerer!
- sputnik0
IRNlun6 is right...there's nothing wrong with stepping up to the plate and getting a shite job to pay the bills until you get back on your feet.
i had dwindling freelance for 2 years - got so bad i turned into a personal banker for 6 months. again, designer working as a personal freaking boring-ass cardboard automaton banker. worst job i ever had, but i got up every day and busted my ass to make ends meet. all the while i was looking for work like mad, burned the candle at both ends and finally found a real nice steady gig.
sometimes you have to swallow the design pride for a while and do what has to be done.
i'm sure you will find great clients or a great steady gig soon enough! i wish you the best 4cy.

i found this and transölated it.
We (...) are at the same time workers for our living costs and creator
of the art. We, who we live in our holes, have neither colours nor
light still time for our creativity. Proletarians of the brushes, we
must unite, must a ' free association of the suppressed arts ' create,
bread, studio and our existence right require."
