Hi all, little help??
I'm working on a CD flash projector that is meant to launch PDFs on MAC and PC. The pc platform is not the problem. I need to launch pdfs and have them open on MAC OSX in a browser window.So far the launch button is written as so
on(press){
//print current chapter
getUrl("documents/" + currentChapter + ".pdf",_blank);
trace("in print: " + currentChapter);
}-will the _blank launch it in a new browser window on OSX? Or in Viewer?

It depends if the user has the (shitty) PDF Viewer plugin installed, if they don't it will probably open the PDF in either Acrobat Reader or Preview.
Are Adobe even still distributing the PDF Viewer plugin? I couldn't find it on their site.

Let me rephrase that,
I need an action for the projector button that will open a pdf without trying to use Internet explorer.
getURL ("xxx.pdf")
and
getURL("xxx.pdf", '_blank');Will always try to open it up through IE on the OSX MAC here in the office.
Anybody have an alternative? Maybe something with an FSCommand? Anything?
