not sure what kind of noise you want if you're just using an outline? Look into using the filter>sketch>halftone pattern as that will give you the same dot structure as b&w newspapers, you could then add noise after that.
cant help with the vector athletes.. "draw them" would be a popular response heheh

Cheap way would be filter>Add noise then maybe some difference cloud filter on a multipy or with a yellow tint with a color blending layer. Depens on how real you want it to look.3

I'm currently designing a gymnasium/small sports center. I'm interested in using huge vector images of athletes [basketball, handball, gymnastics, soccer, etc...] on the large windows outside. What I'm asking you is this:
1. Do you know any resources where I can get vectors of athletes [outline-only prefered]?
2. Separately, I would like to achieve on those vectors a grainy effect, like those you'll find in old b&w newspaper pictures. Some guidance in photoshop [or vector program] appreciated.
