hey guys....i'm wondering how you design the graphics for those "retro"/trucker t shirts....the one color ones......
the dude basically gave me some images and said he needs them as 1 color graphics....he said nothing complex.
what format should it be in and i'm wonderin whats the easiest way to do it?
I was thinking threshold in ps then import to flash and trace bitmap.
anyone got a better way?

should be in illustrator eps, outlined, and camera ready, meaning black. to screen.
trace, i just import into illutrator and hack at it with the pen tool, compound paths, and some masks if needed. =)

... or cheat a bit by using Streamline before Illustrator.
However cleaning up that image in Illustrator afterwards is often at least just as timeconsuming as the method Swollen suggested.

dude...your thinking about it too much...just design those bitches...the way YOU want...not the way people here think you should. That's what makes YOU the designer...have fun with it ;)
oh, and you could try:
(in PS)--->
filter-sketch-halftone pattern-contrast all the way up to 50...with the dots.good luck!
