Well this is my first PowerBook, so this maybe simple...
Is there a way I can turn off having to press fn to use the F1-10 keys on my PowerBook G4? Thanks.

If you're using any version of OSX past 10.1 then no.
There are third party apps that will allow you to do so, but these are a bit kludgey.
I'm not loving apple today.
Fontbook is destroying my computer.

you can turn the function keys off in panther. if your using expose, just switch them not to use the fuctions keys. expose is located in your system prefs

cant you go into system prefs/keyboard and mouse, and map the keys individually? dunno, never done it, but think you should be able too.

yeah you can do that..but lets say your using flash which uses fuction keys (makes life easier than going to the file menu everytime with the mouse), then setting up custom function keys will change all application ways

do not taunt you powerbook....
they have feelings and emotions, once they don't like you, they can cause you problems.
