I'm a total novice at CSS and i need some help. I have and tags with a specified font in my style sheet, is there anyway to disregard the style sheet for one and use a differnt one. If anyone can give me a hint would be great.

you can use "!important" to declare a "cascade" to your css rules.
the element you define as !important will use that css rule, and then everything else will use the normal global stylesheet rules.
[reference]
http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS2/ca…you could also define an id or class, depending on how the element is used.
id's are for unique elements and classes are rules that are reused across multiple elements.

im assuming your using external CSS(sytlesheet) you can use inline CSS, or use classes in the .css file itself. i use classes for just ablout everything. i never really got too keen with inline styling, but i know it tkes precedence over the external styles. classes are like this if you dont know
.className{
background-color:#006699;
font-family:Arial, Tahoma, Verdana;
}refernece it like this:
myText
