Whats everyones favorite digital camera - reasonably priced.
I dig the new PowerShot SD10.
Only drawback is you can't attach lenses.

the Canon EOS 300D will be mine real soon, unless Nikon follows the price-revolution (I have always been a Nikon man..) but since I am going to invest in new lenses and all that I can easily make the switch..
Canon really got the prosumer market in his hands with this model. Fucking ace camera.

I have the Canon 10D and couldn't be happier. Don't even mention any point and shoot toys in this thread.
I'm off to PhotoPlus at the javitz center in NYC now. I'm looking for a camera remote and maybe a nice lens.

I just got a Canon 300D (Digital Rebel) and let me tell you something--It is AMAZING!
If you want picture quality comparable to that of an analog camera, as well as the upgradability which comes with interchangable lenses, go with a Digital SLR! I never got one before, because of their prohibitive costs, but the Canon 300D changes all that... At $900 (or $1000 with a 18-55mm standard zoom kit lens), they aren't much more expensive than typical medium grade snapshot cameras sold by Sony, Olympus, tec. You are simply getting MUCH MORE bang for your buck. In fact, the camera has got nothing but rave reviews... go check around the net. The only problem I could think of would be finding a retailer who has remaining stock.

I've got a minolta Dimage S404, it gets the job done. What I want is the Dimage A1 though.
