Sweet. I wouldn't use it, but anything that fucks with the RIAA is good news. It's all out war. Death to them!! I can't wait to piss on their severed, juicing neck stumps. Yaaaaaayyy!!!

"But the upside is that because the copy isn't exact, the licensing hurdles are lower."
if that's all it takes, then anyone that shares out mp3's that have a low(er) sample-rate/bit-depth than that of it's CD counterpart, should be sheilded from the long arm of the RIAA... however, there's probably a few tricks that their lawyers could turn to make up for that legal loophole...
it's only a matter of time... the RIAA will lose.

no, no, no... the RIAA love that new TV thing.
the music can only play on the tv and then has a purchase feature while your listening... i hear the audio isn't high quality but more FM audio quality... kind of like programing your own radio station but with visual ads to buy the albums...

actaully they'll be paying ascap and abiding by the rules, etc, it's essentially a radio over analog cable. someone please help me understand the huge deal, besides being allowed to request the music played? better radio station? i guess i just dont get it.

"someone please help me understand the huge deal"
there's nothing to get... it's just another shotty plug for MIT...

that's what i thought...
back to our regularly scheduled fuckery.

yes!!!! but then you hook up your computer via a analog to digital converter up to your tv set and record the music to your 'puter!!
LOL!

am i wrong here?
did they not essentially downgrade the radio with a wired version, instead of the wireless version we've known for a century now?
- 4cY0
