today my country votes. i like this:
"If you are bored and disgusted by politics and don't bother to vote, you are in effect voting for the entrenched establishments of the two major parties who, please rest assured, are not dumb, and who are keenly aware that it is in their interests to keep you disgusted and bored and cynical and to give you every possible reason to stay at home doing one-hitters and watching MTV on primary day. By all means stay home if you want, but don't bullshit yourself that you're not voting. In reality, there is no such thing as not voting: you either vote by voting, or you vote by staying home and tacitly doubling the value of some Diehard's vote."

Help!!
When I have PNG with transparent background in indesign. laying on top of an 15% colour background.
everything look right on the screen. But when i print, the transparent area always turn white. I've made sure "knockout group" is unchecked but it still happens... any idea what i missed?
Thanks in advance!

Fucking LOL at the Australian media 'frenzy' since Jessica Mauboy (Australian Idol winner) got a gig at the Eurovision Song Contest™.
The launch pad for a global career or nothing more than the interval entertainment at a camp-fest that no one takes seriously or actually gives a shit about. You decide...

8 days into a new month and one of my contracts lets me know we're discontinuing our arrangement... 'sorry... thought we talked about that.'

Is the background colour a spot or pantone? They don't usually play well with transparency/layers/effects.

MrsT just asked me, "Do I use a saucepan to make the sauce?"
I thought I'd record it here for future amusement rather than reply with my usual heavy sarcasm and risk being hit with said pan.
