Better 4 Design?Mac vs PC

i owuld like to find out others opinions as to why Macs are better for design than PCs. a few things that I think are:
Faster in Photoshop, type management and color mangement. Are there more than these? Are there actual stats on these? Are these not true?Thanks in advance for any info you can give.

Maybe Mac's have been traditionally easier to use, less techie, you know? no one really designs nice nice on Linux. probably easier to use means less aggravation and more time spent on making things type tight.

My PC - 3.06 1 gig ram
My Mac - G5 - dual 2.0 1 gig ramPC is way faster. Mac can handel WAY more applications better workload. I am a PC user so i am more productive on the PC. But I get lots of Street Cred with the G5.

I use both BUT
PC is much faster & cheaper
MAC looks better but is nowhere near as stable (yes I am using OSX but the coloured wheel still spins for too long)
The windows on a MAC get messy - the windows on a PC can all be minimised. That always helps productivity.
But MAC's do look good.
