AGP 8X, 4X???

  Whats the difference between AGP, AGP 4X and 8X?

  I'm putting together a new AMP athlon and the AGP in this motherboard doesn't seem to like my Oxygen GVX1 AGP card.

  hardware techies out there?

  you can update your mobo or check the bios....
  I am running 48x AGP, but I was at 4 until I upped the drivers....

  it might be as simple as checking the devices websites......should be doable....
