OK here's 2 tracks from last weekend. Keep in mind that it's a live demo rather than a polished studio recording...
I know we are pretty loose but we'll get better I promise!

What do you think? How would you describe us?

I like it.....I'd buy it!

oh shit....I am so in love (in a non-freaky way!) with your voice kim....both those tracks are awesome but I really like Miss You...for live tracks those are really really strong....
Seriously - great stuff....I don't know how to describe it though! It reminds me of a couple of things but I can't pinpoint them...a little bit of skunk anansie but not as raw...
fantastic....
- jevad0
nice photos too

Miss You / is my favourite

aw youse guys...
thanks for the positive comments. I haven't played it to many people yet and was starting to have a confidence crisis...

...there's a hint of Moloko in there too!
- jevad0
yeah! thats it phubar - moloko!
- save0
aye!
- vespa0
yea but that's just "Miss You". None of our other music is like that... In fact none our songs are alike so far...
- pascii0
check 'em out on my home stereo! post comment later!
- jevad0
thats a good thing....there's nothing worse than a band playing the same tune in different ways over 10 songs of a cd you know?

hmm let's see... the voice sounds talented, on key, is that you? slightly portisheadish. the recording is not too shabby BTW.
i could see you guys playing a coffee shop out in Santa Barbara or something.
maybe it needs a lil more soul or something. or the lyrics just kind of pass me by. but that's just my humble opinion.
- save0
I wouldnt say it was portisheadish....
- vespa0
I agree but then how do you describe your music to people. I have said we are sort of non-electro moloko-ish before but only that 1 track is!
At the moment we are working on a jazz-waltz-punk-rock track, a reggae track and a trip-hop track. No wonder we can't find a name!
- lilbabyleg0
only a touch, talking about the voice not the music
- jevad0
seeing as you are a new band I wouldn't worry about it kim - your style will develop in time...until then - have fun with it and jsut do what you feel like doing!

Very nice groove, buttery voice. Maybe needs a little studio love. But for a live recording. sounds good.
Vespa, you just adding fuel to the fire.. I'll be in the front row at all your concert with the green tee that say's "Im your future boyfriend".
